Sidewalk Reservation. Installation art injected with the imperatives of live VJ & DJ Performance. Urban geographer, Ismail Farouk’s visual explorations of the street life in Johannesburg, using time lapse animation and video filters, are dynamically matched by Murry Turpin’s sound collages which fuse urban sound recordings with abstract beats. Underground Club culture meets urban activism.
